There are several types of bankruptcy cases, and in filing a consumer bankruptcy case, it is essential to consider what the client is ultimately trying to accomplish. Some bankruptcy firms will only file Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 cases. However, without a full range of knowledge about the remedies available in each type of case, and the limitations on filing such cases, the client is not provided with complete and accurate information to guide their filing decision.  Our firm will guide you in examining and evaluating your option.  First our firm will help you determine whether or not a bankruptcy case filing is necessary or desireable. Then we will review each type of filing, and explain both the benefits and detriments of each type, as those laws are applied to the client’s unique circumstances. Nonetheless, the ultimate decision as to whether or not to proceed with a bankruptcy case or any other financial resolution, rests totally with the client, after evaluating all of the available options.
